Meeting features and supported languages
Are speakers’ names displayed in online meetings?
Lingo displays participant names in online meetings on Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and similar platforms, alongside their remarks.
Can I view live captions and translations on a PC or smartphone?
You can view live captions and translations on both PCs and smartphones. You can also scan a QR code with your smartphone to view them right away.
Which languages are supported for real-time translation?
Lingo supports 15 languages in total. Korean, Japanese, English, and Thai are fully supported. Vietnamese, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Estonian, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Italian, Indonesian, and Filipino are available in beta.

Which security certifications and reports does Lingo hold?
Lingo is built on 12 global and local security, privacy, and cloud certifications and reports held by QueryPie AI, including SOC 2 Type II, ISO/IEC 42001, and ISO/IEC 27001. For more details, see our Security page.
Where is data stored?
Data is stored in the AWS Tokyo Region.
Is my data used to train AI models?
Your data is not used to train AI models. Data stored by Lingo is encrypted at rest.
How long are audio and transcription data retained?
Data is retained until you delete it or until your organization’s configured retention period expires. Each organization can configure and manage its own retention period.
Account setup and free trial
How do I sign up to start testing? Is any additional setup required?
Lingo is an AIP-based service. Register for an AIP account with QueryPie AI, then click “Start Lingo” to begin using it right away.
Does each tester need to register independently, or can I invite members to one organization?
After creating an account, you can invite members to the same organization. Multiple users, including the meeting organizer, can test Lingo within the same organization.
How many credits are included in the free trial?
When you register for an AIP account, you automatically receive 800 credits for your free trial.
Can I use any remaining trial credits after the trial ends?
No. Trial credits expire when the trial ends, so please use them during the trial period.
Credit usage and cost examples
Does real-time translation cost 200 credits per hour for in-person meetings too?
Yes. The same rate of 200 credits per hour applies to in-person meetings.
How many credits does four hours of real-time translation use, and how much does it cost?
Four hours requires 800 credits in total. The equivalent costs in US dollars are shown below.

How many credits does single-language transcription without translation use?
Single-language transcription uses 50 credits per hour, equivalent to $1.25 USD.
Plans and additional credits after the trial
Do I need a paid plan to keep using Lingo after the trial ends?
You need to upgrade to a Business or Enterprise plan.
Can I purchase credits only when I need them, without a monthly subscription?
No. You cannot purchase additional credits without a paid plan. We do not offer a credit-only option for occasional use.
Why is a paid plan required if Lingo uses usage-based credit billing?
After the trial, a Business or Enterprise plan is required. You cannot use Lingo by purchasing credits without subscribing to a plan. For details about plan subscriptions, see AIP pricing.
